Russell Winters

Bountiful, UT - Russell Lane Winters, age 69, passed away in his home Thursday, December 12, 2024. 

Russell was born on 8/19/1955 to George and Zina "Emma" Winters. He was a graduate of East High School, Salt Lake City, UT. He married the love of his life, Becky (Rose), on February 1, 1974. Russell worked many years as a member of the Teamsters Union before becoming a maintenance technician at the Salt Lake County Housing Authority. 

Russell retired in 2018 due to health problems but still found the strength to help care for his grandchildren. Russell will be remembered as a very strong and loving man. 

Russell is survived by his brother, Gary Winters; his daughters: Angela (Kelly) Hardman and Samantha Winters; 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Becky (Rose) Winters, whom he missed dearly. Out of respect for Russell's wishes, there will be no memorial service held in his name. 

Immediate family has been invited to pay last respects on Monday, 12/16/2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Russon Mortuary and Crematory, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, UT.
