Ruth Broadhead

Ruth Burningham Broadhead, 91, passed away October 30, 2008. She was born January 10, 1917 in Bountiful, Utah, to Joseph H. and Ella Loder Burningham. She married Robert Broadhead. Was later divorced. She was a lifelong and devoted member of the LDS Church. She devoted the rest of her life to caring for her mother and father until their deaths. As well as caring for her daughter Shirlene. She was always willing to lend a hand with her many nieces and nephews and their children as they were growing up. Ruth was a gentle, loving, and caring person and everyone who knew her, loved her. She is survived by one sister, June Burningham Thomas Squires of Bountiful, two grandchildren, Ryan Rebecca Gill of West Valley, and Becky Manuel Negron of South Jordan, and six great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her mother and father, daughter Shirlene Gill, two brothers and five sisters. The Family would like to thank, Kathy and Tracy from FlexCare, Legacy House of Taylorsville, and Crosslands Care Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 3, 2008 at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, prior to services.
