Ruth Evelyn Matsen

Ruth Evelyn Matsen passed away on November 24, 2017 at the age of 83.  She was born on June 18, 1934 to Rulon K.and Evelyn Madsen, in Bingham, Utah.  She married Gerald (Jerry) Matsen on May 7, 1965.  
She is survived by her daughter Rosemary (Dale) Champion, sons John (Pam) Sessions, Chris Matsen, brother Paul (Ramona) Madsen, 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry Matsen, daughter Julie Bryant, son Stewart Sessions, brother John Madsen, Sister Kay Smullen.
Mom / Nan, we will miss you so much but you will always be in our hearts. 
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Lakeview Hospital and Legacy Hospice Healthcare.  A special thank you to Dr. Scott Southworth for his love and friendship to mom and our family.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00 am at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah 84010. In lieu of flowers the family would suggests donations to be made to the Huntsman Cancer Research or Best Friend Animal Sanctuary.
