Ruth Marie Noe Hulet

Ruth passed away quietly in the hospital surrounded by her family after suffering health problems.
She was born in Springville, Utah the youngest child of George Walker Noe and Norma Taylor Noe. She grew up in a kind and loving family with her older brother, Dean and sister, AnnaMae. Her early years were spent in Springville living close to her grandparents. At the age of 7, her family moved to Ogden where her father was employed as a conductor for the railroad.
Growing up in Ogden was an idyllic life with many friends and fun experiences. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1952, and then attended Weber College, graduating with a degree in business. There she met and married Bert Hulet (later divorced). They had 3 children.
Ruth was a good mother, raising her 3 children mostly on her own. She had many challenges in life, but she never complained.
She worked 27 years for Davis School District as a secretary and a media specialist, retiring in 2000.
She actively participated as a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers for over 50 years. She was a volunteer at LDS Hospital earning 2500 hours of service.
She has been a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a teacher, leader and friend to many. She is a kind and gentle soul. She loved spending time with her family and was beloved by her grandchildren. She talked often of a special trip to Great Britain and France with her sister and nieces.
Her hobbies were gardening, crochet, sewing and embroidery. Many are lucky recipients of her excellent work.
She is survived by her 3 children: Karen (Rob) Pyper - Kaysville, Dale (Chris) Hulet - Bountiful, and Gary (Sheri) Hulet - Lindon; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother Dean, sister AnnaMae and granddaughter, Tiffani.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 8:45-9:45 a.m. prior to services.
