Ruth Layne

Ruth Spackman Layne, 84, passed away Sunday January 13, 2013.
She was born on September 12, 1928 in Lewiston, Utah to Rulon Verbert and Edith Hurd Spackman.
She married Budd M. Layne on November 26, 1947 in the Logan temple.
They recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
Budd and Ruth were long time residents of Bountiful where they raised their family of 5 children.
Survived by her husband, children Wes (Gail), Bev Decker (Dell), Jeff (JoEllen), Doug (Carla), DeeAnn Schultz(Ron),16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday January 19th 11:00 am at the Bountiful 12th Ward chapel 1475 North 300 West. Viewings will be held Friday January 18th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Russon Bros. Mortuary 295 No. Main and on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 am at the church.
Interment Bountiful City cemetery.
