Ryan David Perkes Flitton

With broken hearts, we share the passing of Ryan David Perkes Flitton, our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Born August 9, 1973, to Karen Bryson and Ronald D. Perkes, in Bountiful, Utah. He died June 2, 2022, in Layton, Utah.

Ryan loved being with family. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, and going on drives. He loved traveling, and especially loved Africa and the Oregon Coast. Ryan was kind, compassionate, and a gentle man helping anyone he could. He was fun to be with and was always up for a new adventure.

Ryan is survived by his wife Kimberly and daughter Aleeya Jean, both of Utah, and his son Logan Bruce Dowell of Canada. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather Karen and Lee Mortensen; father and mother–in-law Jerry and Liz Flitton, and mother-in-law Robyn Flitton; his brothers Camron R. Perkes and N. Wade Perkes (Nicole), and his sister Annie Perkes Ivers (Wade); and by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, niece, step-siblings and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Ronald D. Perkes, younger brother Todd W. Perkes, both sets of grandparents, and many loved ones who now rejoice in a reunion with Ryan.

An open house Celebration of Life for Ryan will be held at 10 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Tolman Memorial Park “Rocket Park,” 100 North 1300 East, Bountiful, Utah.

All family, friends and anyone who knew Ryan are welcome to join in the Celebration of Life with us.
