Ryan Fairchild was born December 28, 1968 in Bountiful, Utah, and was the second of six children born to Orvel and Margaret Bellew Fairchild.
Ryan progressed from removing springs from ball point pens, to playing the piano by ear, to constructing origami airplanes. At just nine years old, he had major surgery on his hips and spent his time putting circuit boards together for a neighbor, earning twenty five cents per completed board.
He worked at Lagoon and spent hours with his disabled sister whom he had up and walking at six years old. He remains her all time hero.
Ryan attended Salt Lake Community College and went on to work for Granite School District where he continued working throughout his illness.
He met the love of his Life, Kala Ann Pratt and they were married December 30, 1995. Ryan is survived by his wife and five children: Ryan Arol, Lucas Steven, Franklin Jesse, Xander William, and Cherokee Dawn.
He is also survived by his mother, father, and five siblings: Vaughn, David Lynn, Tonya Marie (Best), Chris Richard, Megan Elizabeth (Belagam)
