Sandra Gay Wright

On January 12th, 2017, Sandra left this earth to join her loved ones that had gone before. She came to this earth on February 26, 1934 to Golden and Dorothy Folsom Stewart.

She is now united with her husband, Lynn, of 59 years. She was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Mary Lynne and her sister Julie. She is survived by her four daughters: Kathy Sharp (Curtis); Lisa Lowder (Jay); Robyn Haight (Rick); Terri Anderson (Rod); fourteen grandchildren; and also her sister Joan Howard (Reed). Her family was the focus of her life.

She was a voracious reader and passed the love of books to her progeny. Sandra never stopped wanting to learn new things and took classes about eclectic subjects. She always had a sewing project in the works and loved to share them.

Pioneer Theater will have an empty seat on Saturdays after more than 20 years of enjoying everything from Shakespeare to musicals.

Together with her husband, Sandra loved to travel and visited most of the United States and many foreign countries. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 16th, Russon Brothers Mortuary. 295 N. Main St. in Bountiful. Viewing to be held prior to services from 9:45-10:45 am.
