She used her education to bless the lives of the young, teaching school for 45 years. She married Jenkyn K. Thomas, February 21, 1957 and they enjoyed many happy, laughter-filled years together. Sarah was very generous, always willing to help others, including opening her home to many individuals in their time of need. Sarah came from strong pioneer heritage and was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints her entire life.

Sarah is proceeded in death by her parents, an older brother Orie, her younger brother Elias, and her husband Jenkyn. She is survived by all of her family, neighbors and friends who were cared for by her, and who cared for her.
