Scott Hall Schulthies was called home after giving a valiant fight with cancer on September 27, 2015 at his home in Woodland Washington accompanied by his devoted children.
Scott was born on June 27, 1957 to Byron and JoAnn Schulthies in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Viewmont High School in 1975. Scott served an honorable mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Roanoke, Virginia. He married his sweetheart Susan Call in the Salt Lake City Temple on May 30, 1986. Scott truly loved his children Stephen and Stephanie, his children were his life. He was always so proud and supportive of them in all that they did and accomplished. Every night before going to bed Scott would say "Dad loves Stephen" "Dad loves Stephanie", this was one of the last things he said before passing away. Scott had a great passion for reading and creating inventions. He loved going on drives to Francis Peak, National Parks and enjoyed all of Heavenly Father's creations. He took many great trips with his family. It was important for Scott to serve and help others.
Scott was preceded in death by his sweetheart, Susan Call Schulthies and parents, Byron and JoAnn Schulthies. He is survived by his son Stephen and daughter Stephanie. Siblings; Rob and Joanne Schulthies, Danette Schroeder, Kim and Craig White, Kris and Catherine Schulthies, Bonnie and Kelly Jackson, Brad and Jane Schulthies, Leisa and Jeff Child, Kathy and Dean Loveland, Kirk and Allison Schulthies, Diana and Paul Anderson. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at Val Verda 9th Ward Building 3317 S. 800 W., Bountiful, Utah 84010. Viewings will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary 295 N. Main St., Bountiful, Utah and on Monday, October 5 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Val Verda 9th Ward Building 3317 S. 800 W., Bountiful, Utah 84010. Interment will follow at the Bountiful Cemetery 2224 S. 200 W., Bountiful, Utah 84010.
