Shantel Millard

July 11, 1979 — October 9, 2016

Shantel Millard, of North Salt Lake, returned to her Heavenly Father on October 9, 2016 after a sudden unexpected illness causing respiratory failure. She will be greatly missed by all.

Shantel was born July 11, 1979 in Salt Lake City to Paul and Nita Millard. She was raised in North Salt Lake and attended Woods Cross High School where she excelled as a student. She earned her nursing degree at Salt Lake Community College and later received her Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Utah.

Shantel will forever be remembered by her loving parents, sister Lori (Greg), brothers Shaun, Greg (Julie), Scott (Brooke), and Brad (Jamie). Shantel was the greatest aunt to 8 nephews and 5 nieces. She loved, adored, and enjoyed spending time with them as much as possible.

Shantel touched the lives of many people with her love and enthusiasm. She was a beloved registered nurse at Primary Children’s Medical Center and took pride in her career. Her contagious smile, caring manner, and selflessness will truly be missed. She enjoyed watching firework shows as many times as she could throughout the year. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. She was considered an angel here on earth and is now an angel with Heavenly Father.
