Sharlene Wootton Love

March 3, 1935 — December 10, 2015

Born March 3, 1935 in Salt Lake City, UT to Jay Grant Wootton and Sadie Anderson Wootton.  Died December 10, 2015 at home of natural causes.

Mom had a wonderful childhood alternating between West Yellowstone, MT where her folks owned and operated the Alpine Motel and Salt Lake City where her dad had a used car lot.

Mom fell in love with and married her high school sweetheart, Roy Alvin Love in Bozeman, MT on May 22, 1954.  They began their married life on the family ranch in Ennis, MT eventually moving to Farmington, UT where they raised their two children, Shirley K. Harper (Scott) and Richard Grant Love (Cindy).

Mom’s favorite thing in life was to travel. Her and dad were able to visit all parts of the world, but enjoyed camping and staying in their trailers more than anything else.

Sharlene was preceded in death by the love of her life Roy, her parents, brother Jay and many cherished cousins and in-laws.  She is survived by her son, Richard (Cindy) and daughter Shirley (Scott), nine grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren, sister in-laws Kathy Wootton and Jesse Clark.

Mom was a very loving and supportive wife, mother, grandma and friend and will be greatly missed.

A viewing will be held for family and friends on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Russon Brothers Farmington Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St. from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
