Sharon Stone McCann passed away Tuesday, November 7, in Bountiful Utah at the age of 82. She was born September 23, 1940, in Alhambra California.
Sharon grew up in California, Oregon, and in Sterling, Colorado. Sharon was a lovely and vivacious woman and graduated from Sterling High School. Sharon was voted “Miss Logan County”. It was here she met Gerald Eugene Kloberdanz. They married February 28, 1960, in Sterling. Sharon and Gerald were parents to three sons, Kelly Stone, Kevin Gerald, and Eric John. They were later divorced.
Sharon enjoyed painting, reading, doing family history and was an avid animal lover. Sharon was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served faithfully in many callings including Relief Society President, Primary President, Family History consultant, and Gospel Doctrine teacher.
Sharon moved to Centerville, Utah in 1981 and she made nursing her career. She worked as a nurse at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful caring for patients there until 1996. Sharon married Harris Gene McCann December 10, 1981, in the Salt Lake City Temple.
She is survived by husband Harris, sons, Kelly (Jo Ellen) Farmington UT, Kevin (Kim) Ogden UT, and Eric, Bountiful UT, Mike (Carrie) Elon N.C., Jay (Michelle) Graham, N.C., Kim (James )Burlington N.C., Chris (Alisha) Mebane N.C. and nine grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by siblings, Harold Stone (Kathy), South Jordan, Utah, Leslie Stone, Santa Rosa, California, Bradley Stone (Kandee), Tooele, Ut.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harold Wilson Stone and Alice Blanche Pastore.
Friends and family may visit Sunday between 6 and 8 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful UT. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 14th, 2022 at the Centerville 1st Ward, located at 160 South 300 East, Centerville UT. Viewing prior to the service between 9:30 and 10:45 am.
