Sharon Thompson Murdoch

Sharon Thompson Murdoch, 85, passed away at home with her family surrounding her on December 12, 2020. Sharon was born November 10, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah to her loving parents Arold Joseph and Wanda Adams Thompson who preceded her in death. Sharon met her soulmate and best friend, George Murdoch, they married April 2, 1982, and have not left each other’s side. Sharon worked for the State Board of Education running the printing press, working her way to be the manager. She spent many years snowmobiling with great friends in Yellowstone, Bear Lake, and the Uinta Mountains. They owned a time share and traveled the summer months to their hearts content. She leaves behind her husband and soulmate George; Sheri (Steve) Heslington, Scott (Jalair) Janke, Lauri Poulsen, Christy Harrison, Tara (Dallas) Sinquefield, Joel (Mandi) Murdoch; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren. Sharon will be cremated per her request with “NO FUSS” as she put it. We will celebrate her life at a later time this summer.
