Sharon Lois Proctor passed away on April 27, 2024 due to declining health. She gave us enough time that day to allow most of her family and close friends the opportunity to say goodbye. She had many who loved her and many were able to show her that before she died.
Sharon was born on July 11, 1944 to Aaron and Lois Roylance in Joplin, Missouri, and had two sisters and one brother. She graduated from BYU with a Bachelor’s in Sociology. She married Richard Proctor and raised three wonderful children.
She had a great love of reading and always had a book nearby. Her speed reading skills would blow people away. The knowledge she had of the scriptures and the Gospel was unlike most of the people you will ever meet. She diligently did what many hope to do with regards to her Spiritual studies. She always kept her Savior close. Many years were spent as an Ordinance worker at the Bountiful Temple. The Temple was always a place of comfort to her and she spent a lot of time there.
Her most prized possession was her family. Family always came first and she would want to attend every big and small event that she could.
She was a wonderful Mom, a great Grandma, and an amazing Great Grandma.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Pat. She is survived by children David (Melissa), Londa, and Christine (Josh); by her grandkids Ky, Cavin (Austin), Marissa (Logan), Cassie (Eli), Mason (Ciera), Braeden, Bailey (Sam), and Erin, and her five Great Grandkids.
