Farmington – Sherel Joy McCullough Larson, died Friday January 7, 2011 at home with her loving family. She was born June 10, 1931 in Delta, Utah, daughter of Alvey Clark McCullough and Bessie Dee Manning. She lived in Delta, Utah when young then moved to Farmington, Sheperds Lane where she grew up. She graduated from Davis High school and for awhile attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah. Sherel married Lowell Walter Larson on November 17, 1950 in Farmington, Utah. They were married for 60 years, living and traveling throughout most of the western U.S. Sherel taught in Primary, enjoyed gardening, reading and most of all being with and helping her grandchildren. She worked for Miller Floral, IRS and Utah Dept. of Corrections. She is survived by her husband Lowell Larson, her four children Curtis (Bonnie) Larson, Carol Lee (Robert) Hailstone, Kristine (Terry) Combs and Robin (Julie) Larson along with 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, sisters Bonnie Morton, Kay Christensen, Andrea Perkins and brother Lynn McCullough. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Lucy Rigby McCullough, three bother-in-laws, Waynard Morton, Robert Christensen and John Perkins and Sister-in Law Pat McCullough. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the Farmington Rock Chapel, 272 North Main Street, Farmington, Utah. Friends and family may call Tuesday, January 11 from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main, Farmington, Utah and Wednesday, January 12 from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Graveside dedication will be held at Farmington Cemetery 200 East 500 South after the Funeral Services. Donations to “Make A Wish Foundation” are welcome in lieu of Flowers.
