The evening of December 20, 2012, our beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and saintly friend Sherise Flood passed into the eternities. There to be reunited with parents and generations of ancestors.
Sherise was born December 4, 1968 in Ogden, Utah to Daryl Vance and Nolene Gailey Hodson, the youngest of five children. She married for eternity on July 28, 1990 to Rodney Owen Flood in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Together, they have been blessed with five children: one daughter and four sons.
Sherise was gifted with so many talents, all used to bless the lives of others–but none excelled her tender and loving nature as a wife and mother. In these she was exceptional. She and Rodney were as much one as can be imagined, they are truly eternal sweethearts. Gratefully, she now awaits the day when they shall be together no more to be apart; rather, to journey the eternities hand in hand.
Remaining behind for seasons ahead are her soul-mate Rodney; her cherished children Casey Daryl (Serving as a Missionary in Mexico for the LDS Church), Makensey, Andrew Scott, Dallin Gary, and Joshua Charles; Mom (Laraine) and Dad (Gary) Flood; sisters Jeralee Leonard, Valerie Maxwell, Shawna Brunell, and brother Kevan Hodson; and a multitude of close, extended family and a countless number of friends.
Sherise was preceded in passing through the veil by her parents Daryl and Nolene Hodson, and other extended family.
Memorial services for family and friends will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel, 825 South 50 East, Farmington, Utah, where a viewing will be held from 9:00 am to 10:30 am prior to the memorial service. Following the service, Sherise will be laid to rest in the Farmington City Cemetery.
