Sherlyn Newland

Sherlyn Newland born to Robert Virgil and Carleen Peck Newland on July 11, 1961. Returned home to her Heavenly Father on Monday, December 6, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. Preceded in death by her mother Carleen, and sister, Rebecca. Survived by her daughter, Shanda; her father, Robert (Joan); her siblings, Farrell (Laurie), Moana (Kyle), Susan (Mike), Shaun (Sabrina) Stacey (Joe), Helen (Todd), Kenneth (Tricia), Carl (Jennifer). Maureen (Brett), Kipp, Patrice (Bo), James (Megan) and many nieces and nephews. Sherlyn was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as a Primary worker. She was an Angel to all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the North Canyon 5th Ward, 2505 South Davis Blvd., Bountiful, Utah. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Thursday morning 10-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Rd. Taylorsville, UT.
