Sherrie Ann Olson

Sherrie Ann Stell Olson, age 63, of Bountiful, Utah passed from this life on Monday, February 12, 2015 due to complications from heart surgery.

Sherrie was born March 16, 1954, in Logan, Utah to William Howarth Stell and Lucille Shepherd.  At 6 months Sherrie’s family moved to Bountiful, Utah. She married David Olson September 11, 1982 and they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on December 21, 1985. Sherrie gave birth to her only child, Charles Eric on July 12, 1990.

 Sherrie attended and graduated from Bountiful High School. She also attended the University of Utah and was a true Ute. She took great pleasure in razzing her BYU fan husband.  

Her career included being an assistant manager at the Utah 1 & 2 theaters and sales at the Capital Army-Navy Store. Working in banking she was a teller, head teller and loan secretary for nearly 20 years and for the last 15 years she has worked as a cash poster and as supervisor of a posting group.

Sherrie held many callings in the LDS Church. Her favorite was in Primary. She dearly loved teaching the little children. She was also a Sunday school teacher and served in the Relief Society. Her most recent pleasure was making birthday cards for the sisters in the ward.

Sherrie was preceded in death by her parents William and Lucille. She is survived by her husband David and her son, Charles and her brothers William and Robert.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at the Bountiful 20th Ward on 100 E 1400 S, Bountiful, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6:30-8:30 PM on Monday, February 19, 2018, at Russon Mortuary, 295 N Main, Bountiful, Utah, and from 9:45-10:45 AM at the church prior to the service.
