Our beloved angel has passed through the veil, Shirley Ann Hall Stahle at the age of 79, departed this life on July 13, 2017 due to complications from strokes, leaving behind a legacy of love.
Shirley was born August 3, 1937 to Ray Lloyd and Carolyn Benson Hall in Leavenworth Kansas she was the eldest of three children, moving to Utah in her sophomore year of High School. She graduated from Davis High School in 1955. She married the love of her life, Richard Gail Stahle in the Salt Lake Temple May 31, 1957 and just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were blessed with five sons and two daughters, whom she dedicated and sacrificed her time and love in their behalf.
She was a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held numerous callings and gave much service. She loved her fourteen years of service as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple along with her eternal companion. She lived a life of service, rendering many countless quiet acts of kindness amongst her friends and family. She was an accomplished homemaker and fabulous cook. Her homemade peach ice cream is a family legend. Her favorite thing in the whole world was her family. She lived for family dinners and gatherings, she was never happier than when her family was together enjoying each other.
She is survived by her husband Gail who dedicated his life to her care. His devotion has been an example of pure love. She is also survived by her children; Richard (Ann), Scott (Leslie), Sheila (Hayes) Powell, Lorie (Mitch)Matern, Reed (Julie), David (Carol), Clark (Jennifer); twenty nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren. Brother: Wayne (Lorraine) Hall, Brother in Law: Hank Emery.
Proceeded in death by her parents Ray & Carolyn Hall; sister Lana Emery.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the Life Care Center of Bountiful and South Davis Community Hospital for their compassionate care.
A viewing will be held Thursday July 20th from 6-8pm at the Russon Brothers Mortuary Bountiful, 295 North Main.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11am at the Barton Creek Ward at 640 South, 750 East, Bountiful. There will be a viewing prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 am.
