Shirley Jean Lauri

Shirley Jean Lauri was born March 4, 1927 to James Michael Lauri and Lillian Maud Davis.  Shirley passed away September 20, 2017 at Pheasant View Assisted Living in Layton, Utah. 

Shirley taught school in California for 41 years and was proud of her work, teaching and shaping children. She also had a great love of animals, and cherished her pets.

Shirley has lived, the last 19 years, in Bountiful, Utah.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and a half brother, James Michael Laun.  She is survived by her sister Linnette Lillian McCreary, a nephew, nieces, and many great nieces and nephews.

A short graveside service will be held in her honor on September 25, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Salt Lake City, Utah.
