Sidney Price

Biography

On the morning of July 12, 2014 Sidney “Sid” Price (56) peacefully ended her hard-fought battle with melanoma at the Huntsman Cancer Center. Her family and closest friends were by her side. Sid was known as an outgoing, energetic, big-hearted, and fun-loving character that touched many lives. The extensive portfolio of the people she touched was clearly apparent as numerous friends, relatives, and her “work family” gathered to support her in her final days. Sid’s greatest accomplishment beyond being a good friend was being a loving daughter. Prior to being diagnosed with cancer, she spent over ten years as the live-in primary caregiver for her elderly mother (Dorothy). Making many unselfish personal, social, and career sacrifices-these are the things that made her special. Sid leaves a legacy of good friends, goodwill, and warm memories that we would all hope to duplicate. She was preceded in death by her father Walter and mother Dorothy, and is survived by brother Tracy.
