Stacey Swensen DeVore

June 18, 1969 — January 11, 2023

Bountiful, UT

Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend left us on January 11, 2023, due to a pulmonary embolism.

Stacey was born on June 18, 1969, in Murray, UT. She is the oldest of six siblings to Susan (Bill) Cook and Lewis Swensen.

Stacey graduated in 1987 from Taylorsville High School where she was a dedicated, hard-working student. She enjoyed cheerleading in 9th grade at Eisenhower Junior High. She lived for spending time with family and friends. Go Utes! Stacey loved going camping and floating at “THE PROPERTY” in Star Valley, Wyoming. This was her peaceful place. She loved trap shooting, boating, watching Macey cheer, listening to Zak talk about his day at work, and coming home to chef Troy making dinner. Stacey had a way of lighting up a room and her laughter will never be forgotten.

Stacey took great pride in working at Zions Bank for 32 years. She loved the relationships and friendships she made with her co-workers.

Stacey married Paul Oswald and had her handsome baby boy, Zakary. They later divorced and Stacey was a single mom for many years. Stacey met Troy and Courtney and married the love of her life in February 2004. Stacey and Troy, having a combined family, created a beautiful home together for their kids and welcomed darling Macey in 2005. They have spent their entire married life in the city of West Bountiful.

Stacey is survived by her husband Troy DeVore, children Zakary Oswald and Macey DeVore, mother Susan (Bill) Cook, siblings Holly (Trevor) Lambourne, Jeff Swensen, Matt Swensen, Kacey Mefford, in-laws Bettie (Les) Alldredge, Penny (Scott) Jensen, Ryan (Tara) DeVore, Rick DeVore (Ashlee Schmidt), nieces and nephews Whitney and Peyton Lambourne, Makena, Camden and Carson Swensen, Alexis and Jade Mefford, Nicole, Alexis, Bailee, Lindsey, and Tyler Jensen, Ryker, Caden, Tyson and McKinley DeVore, Hailey and Tayler DeVore and many aunts, uncles and cousins who she loves dearly. Preceded in death by her father Lewis Swensen, sister Kimberly, daughter Courtney Rae DeVore, nephew Braxton and niece Brooklyn DeVore, and both sets of grandparents.
