Our dearly loved, Stacie Allred Rodgers, age 53, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 5, 2016 at the University of Utah Hospital.
She was born December 28, 1962 in Denver, Colorado to Alan E. and Joyce Barlow Allred. Stacie spent her childhood among seven wonderful siblings and enjoyed numerous friends.
Stacie had a deep love for her family. She was sealed to her sweetheart, Neal Rodgers in the Salt Lake City Temple, and they were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Nicole and Rachelle. Recently, some of Stacie's most cherished moments were spending time with her first grandchild, Easton.
Along with a deep love for her family, Stacie had a passion for education. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in education from Weber State University and later received a Master's degree in education from Utah State University. Stacie taught elementary school for 28 years.
Stacie enjoyed serving others throughout her life. She served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Germany and served in many other church callings within the Relief Society, Young Women's, and Primary organizations.
Stacie touched the lives of many through her kindness, teaching ability, and gentle nature. She brought joy and happiness to all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband Neal; daughter, Nicole (Bryan) Stapley; grandson, Easton Stapley; mother, Joyce Barlow Allred; sisters, Angela (Blair) Sanders, Shannon (Brett) Elton; brothers, Steve Allred, Curt (Elise) Allred, Marshall (Lynda) Allred, Doug Allred, Scott (Kristen) Allred, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Alan E. Allred; sister, Jennifer Allred; and daughter, Rachelle Rodgers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 11:00 am at the LDS Chapel, 900 S. 400 E. in Centerville. Prior to the funeral services, a viewing will be held at 9:45am. A viewing will also be held Wednesday, June 13, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the Neuro Critical Care Unit's physicians, nurses, and staff at the University of Utah Hospital.
