Stanley J. Beus, age 48, was called back home to his Heavenly Father’s presence on August 9, 2013, after enduring several years of poor health. Stan was married to Misti Powell Beus for 20 years. He was a loving father to Elder Nick Beus (currently serving an LDS mission), Paige (16) and Chloe (15). His family was sealed for time and eternity in the Jordan River Temple in 1998.
Stan was born on September 29, 1964, in Othello Washington. He served an honorable 2-year mission for the LDS church in Auckland, New Zealand. He has resided in Utah for the past 25 years.
He was a successful business man who owned his own car dealership in Draper, Utah, for many years. Stan was an excellent tennis player and an avid sports fan. His three children were the light of his life and he thoroughly enjoyed his role as a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Stan is survived by his wife and children as well as his mother Betty, and his siblings, Mike (Debbie), Jana (Jim), Carilee (Rockie), Steve and Kirt (April). He is preceded in death by his father, West Beus.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at the Compton Bench Ward, 850 Compton Rd., Farmington. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Farmington Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St. and Thursday morning from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Farmington City Cemetery.
