Steve Lyle May

Steve May was born Nov. 20, 1946 in Rupert, Idaho. He passed away December 6, 2017 in Bountiful, Utah. Steve was the youngest son of Madge and Richard May. He graduated from Minico High School in Rupert, Idaho in 1965. 

He married Bobbie Ashcraft in 1966.  They had two children; Stacy May and Traci Wheeler. He was also blessed with 6 grandchildren.

Steve owned several businesses over the years which included Burgers Etc. and May’s Family Cleaners in Burley, Idaho. The family moved to Utah and began May’s Custom Tile and then May’s Custom Marble and Granite in Salt Lake, which is still going strong today.  He loved to travel with his family and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by both his parents, his two brothers Roy and Stan May and an infant granddaughter.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the LDS Chapel located at 165 West Monarch Drive, Bountiful, Utah.  Family and friends may visit between 6-8 pm, on Wednesday, December 13, at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah and Thursday, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service.  Interment – Lakeview Cemetery.
