Steven George Bleazard, born on June 21, 1956, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to George Albert Bleazard and Edith Gail Schuenman, peacefully passed away on April 2, 2024. Steve was the eldest of four boys (Brett, Scott, and Jeff), and he is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. From an early age, he exemplified leadership and kindness, deeply influenced by his loving family.
A devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Steve served a mission in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from 1975 to 1977. He was a dedicated disciple of Jesus Christ. On August 20, 1980, he married Robyn Lee Wray in the Salt Lake Temple. Shortly after their marriage, the couple returned to Las Vegas to raise their four children: Tiffani Ann Benson (Jeremy), Joshua Steven (Lyndia), Jacob Jeffrey (Chelsea Rae), and Emily Samantha. He and his Grandchildren - Aiden, Zack, Chloe, James, Meilin, Leilani, Adolin, Nate, Clara, and Elizabeth – shared a deeply heartfelt bond. Steve loved his family, and everything he did was in service of them.
Steve’s love of learning and curiosity knew no bounds, and he collected hobbies like cooking, golf, woodworking, and forging knives. He was an Eagle Scout and attended the Boy Scout World Jamboree in Japan in his youth. Steve earned the affection and admiration of friends, ward members, and colleagues alike due to his outstanding work ethic and service to God. He dedicated 45 years to the construction industry, where his reputation was unsurpassed.
Steve was soft-spoken, resolute, and unwavering in his beliefs, and was kind and gentle in all that he did. His departure from this life into the next may feel too soon, but God and Steve’s heavenly loved ones are lucky to have him.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 690 North 400 West, Centerville, UT. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. that morning and will be followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. All who knew Steve are invited to attend and celebrate his remarkable life.
