Steven Dwayne Drott

Steven Dwayne Drott, born on May 19, 1962 in Orange, California, passed away on November 17, 2017 at his home in Layton, Utah.  He was the son of Loretta Rizer and John Drott, married to JoLynn Rollins Drott, and the father to his two beautiful daughters Kaylynn and Josie.  He also just became a grandfather to Elliott Wolfe!  Steve was a Marine Biology and honors biology teacher at Davis High School, and he coached girls’ softball and volleyball.  He fought his battle with Multiple Myeloma for the past nine years, and was involved with the Leukemia Lymphoma Society in the fight to cure blood cancers.  Steve loved to travel with his family (in the RV) almost as much as he loved the ocean.  On weekends you could always find him in his beloved yard.  Steve was the perfect father.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Open House will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main, Farmington, Utah.
