Steven Lee Bruso

July 10, 1976 — August 25, 2018

Steve was born in Bountiful UT on July 10, 1976. He passed away peacefully on August 25, 2018 at home in Stansbury Park, UT.

Steve was the second child of Richard S. and Robin Bruso. He had been active in Boy Scouts and Order of the Arrow reaching the level of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Bountiful High. Steve worked a few different jobs but the ones he enjoyed the most was manager of parking at ZCMI and Cross Roads malls. The last several years he was pretty much home bound due to a disability.

Steve appreciated the beauty around him. His second grade teacher told us with tears in her eyes that she put a lot of effort into decorating her classroom but no one seemed to notice. But Steve told her how nice the room looked making it worthwhile. Steve enjoyed making people happy. He loved his family.

For the past 20 years Steve has been renting an apartment from Sylvia Allred in Stansbury Park. Sylvia is the mother of Allen who has been Steve's best friend since high school. The Allred's included Steve in all their family activities and became a second family to him. They have taken care of him as his illness progressed the last few years. The Bruso family appreciates everything the Allred’s have done for Steve throughout the years.

Steve is preceded in death by his father, Richard and both sets of grandparents.  He is survived by his mother Robin, Vernal UT, older brother Dan ( Cristy ), Vernal Ut, sister Emily ( Karissa ), Centerville and Step grandmother Joan Bruso, Chicopee Falls, MA. Numerous nieces and nephews.

It was Steve's wish not to have a funeral. The immediate family will be gathering to celebrate his life.
