Susan was born December 13, 1963 to Meril Lyn Stenquist and Larry Bannon. She was raised by her mom and Robert Stenquist, the man she called dad. She died peacefully the morning of March 12, 2016 with family at her side.
She enjoyed singing, doing cross stitch and latch hook rugs, watching movies and listening to Christmas music. Prior to her health deteriorating, she was active in the Special Needs Mutual and looked forward to attending every Thursday night and being in the annual program, where she would end each program performing I Am a Child of God in sign language. She loved Diet Coke, going to Subway and anything and everything CHOCOLATE.
One of her major accomplishments in life was to be able to take care of herself with only minimal assistance for many years. This was due in large part to her special friends Koryl B and Paula, as well as the other workers at Danville Services.
She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her siblings, Jefri Lyn Bannon, Annette (Joel) Wendel, Robyn (Marvin) Fielding, Bryan (Christine) Stenquist and all her nieces and nephews, Daniel, Stephen, Heather and Dan, Aimee' and Jared, Monica, Alex, Spencer, Abby, Joseph and Linde, Matthew, Mark, Stephanie, Merilee, Seth, Nathan, Katie, Stuart, Andrea, Blake, Aaron and Zachary and 11 grandnieces/nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, March 19 at 2:00 pm at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main. Come and share a brief memory of Susan. Viewing will be held from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm prior to services. Interment will be at Crescent Cemetery, Sandy Utah. Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com
Thanks to Hearts for Hospice and Danville Services for their care of Susan.
Susie- we learned more from you, than you did from us. Let your spirit dance now that it is free from its limiting body.
