Biography

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend Billie Brooks passed away December 29, 2013 in Bountiful, Utah from a long battle with C.O.P.D. Billie was born September 26, 1937 in Atchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Tom and Irene McCune. She married Jerry Don Brooks on January 15, 1956. Billie enjoyed most anything outdoors, especially with family. She loved all animals and cherished her two dogs, Chuck and Bear.
Survived by sons, Randy (Annette), Rusty, and Rick; daughter, Robyn Parlett (Lance); brother, Gary (Donna) McCune; sister, Sandy Jasper; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 3 sisters.
The family would like to thank Gary and Donna for their loving support. Affinity Hospice and Life Care Center of Bountiful for their care and compassion. Per Billie’s wishes private family ceremony will be held at later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice in Billie’s name.
