Ted Einer Jensen

Ted Einer Jensen, 89, returned peacefully to the arms of his Savior on Friday, August 31, 2018. Ted was born July 1, 1929 in Logan, Utah to Carl Einer and Blanche Hill Jensen. He grew up in Lyman, Wyoming and graduated from Lyman High School. He also attended the University of Utah. He was married twice: Betty in 1951 and Dixie in 1974, divorcing both.
He was an active member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served in many positions including Bishopric and High Council. He was actively engaged in the indexing program, where he indexed hundreds of thousands of names.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. He is survived by 6 children: Michael, Kathy, Terry, Charlie, Connie and Jamie; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Bountiful 27th Ward, 1145 North 200 East. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Wednesday morning 9:45-10:45 am at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
