Terese Olsen Anderson

Terese O. Anderson, lifelong Bountiful resident, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from complications following a fall.  She is survived by 5 children: Brent (Troy) of Lincoln, NE; Greg (Janine) of Lacey, WA; Heidi Cottle (Mark) of Syracuse, UT; Kevin (Bekki) of North Salt Lake, UT and Tom (Melina) of Bountiful, UT, and 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Robin Anderson, and two grandchildren.

Terese was born in 1938 to Terence and Aurelia (Brauer) Olsen.  Her father passed away shortly before her birth.

She attended BYU. She worked as a court recorder in Farmington until she had children, at which time she became a full-time homemaker and dedicated her time to raising them.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and reading.  She spent many years as a volunteer in Cub Scouts, serving as a den leader and as a district committee member planning monthly round tables with her husband.  She was skilled at canning fruits and vegetables from the garden and numerous fruit trees that she and Robin planted.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 21,2021 at 11:00am at the Bountiful South Stake building, 1250 South Main Street in Bountiful. A viewing will be held Thursday evening 6:00-8:00pm at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Friday morning from 9:45-10:45am at the Stake Center prior to the services. Interment at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
