Thelma Lund White

October 23, 1916 — November 6, 2010

Thelma Catherine Lund White, age 94 died November 6, 2010. She was born October 23 1916 in Farmington, Utah to David Rasmus and Catherine Phillips Lund. She grew up in Farmington and graduated from Davis High School. On November 14, 1946 she married Elmer (Stub) Barber White in Morgan Utah, the marriage was later Solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Thelma worked at Miller Floral for over 20 years and was a Crossing Guard for Farmington City for several years. She was a life-long member of the LDS church and served in many different organizations. She loved working in the Primary and served as President. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, serving in many positions. Survivors include her children: Paul and Kay Lynn White of Farmington, David and Connie White of Syracuse, Ray and Valerie White of Kaysville, 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Renee Parsell. Proceeded in death by her husband, her mother and father; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Farmington Rock Church 272 N Main, Farmington. Friends may visit Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 North Main St. Farmington, Utah, and one hour prior to the service at the Rock Chapel. Interment will be in the Farmington City Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Country Care, Applegate Hospice, and Avalon Care Center for their dedication in the past few years helping our mother in the later years of her life.
