Thomas Darwin Dewsnup

April 25, 1947 — October 10, 2021

Thomas Darwin Dewsnup, beloved husband, father, and son of our Father in Heaven passed away October 10, 2021, from complications of his dialysis.  Darwin loved life and his family beyond measure and was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He held many positions within the Church, with his favorite being an inspired teacher.

He worked for many years in the Logistical Industry, which included Regional Director for Associated Food Stores, Inc.  He was fondly remembered as a kind and good leader. Darwin had many diverse interests, including restaurant owner, hotelier, and cattle rancher.  He raised a family of two sons (Thomas Gregg and Brent Richard) and a daughter (Jill LeAnn).  He was a beloved grandfather of four grandchildren (Elisabeth Laura, Christian Richard, Miriam Kate, and Austin Michael) and was a beloved father-in-law (Laura Parker Dewsnup).  His loving wife is Vicky Lee Davies Dewsnup. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on August 8, 1969, after his completing a successful mission to the West Mexico Mission for the Church.  His entire family will miss him beyond words and hope to be worthy to rejoin him in the hereafter.  He was his wife’s best friend.  His greatest wish was to be remembered as a loving father, husband, and grandfather.  He will be sorely missed.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W., Bountiful, Utah.  A visitation will be held at Russon Mortuary and Crematory, 1941 N. Main St., Farmington, from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to graveside services.  Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com.
