Tiffany Bell Stock, 39, beloved daughter of F. Brent and Janeece T. Stock, moved on to her next adventure Sunday, January 8, 2017, at her childhood home in Bountiful, Utah, after a year-long battle with kidney cancer. She was strong and determined to the end.
Tiffany was born October 30, 1977, in Bountiful, Utah. She was a bright and delightful child excelling in all things attempted and bringing much joy to her family. She attended schools in Bountiful and was married to the love of her life for eleven years.
Being musically talented Tiffany played the piano, flute, oboe and saxophone. She enjoyed playing in Junior High and High School orchestras, jazz bands and marching band and especially the Lagoon band. She attended the University of Utah on a music scholarship and loved being in the U marching band. Tiffany also played in the West Valley Symphony for many years. The friendships she made through music are everlasting.
An exceptional student, Tiffany continued her education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She graduated with a degree in English Literature and American History from the University of Hawaii in 2000. She earned her Masters of Public Administration degree at the U of U in 2012 where she was a member of the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society and graduated with high honors.
Tiffany’s work experience was wide and varied from shop keeping to teaching school and making leis in Hawaii, finishing with a 12 year career in county government for Salt Lake County.
Tiffany was a “biker chick” and loved her Suzuki and the adventures it took her on in Utah. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and had just begun her worldwide travels with trips to Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. She looked forward to visiting other faraway place with strange sounding names but her illness ended those dreams.
She loved cats, reading, peacocks, traveling, all things Eeyore, and had an impressive collection of bells from all over the country and world.
Tiffany is survived by her parents, brothers: MeGarin (Rachel) Australia, and Brandon (Treesa) West Jordan; sister: Tauna (Nate) Kellogg, Bountiful; nephews and nieces: Brayden and Kohel Kellogg , and Gabriel, Setera and Sadie Stock; aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many loyal friends and her furry companions, Mimi and Tator Tot. She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents (Stock and Taylor), aunt Shaundel, uncle Theron, and a cherished son who was still-born in Hawaii.
The family expresses gratitude to Tiffany’s loving friends (you know who you are), everyone at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, and the CNA Hospice nurses and staff for their exceptional care of her throughout her courageous battle.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah, where a visitation will be held from 9;30-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
