Tim Laurence Holdstock

January 23, 1948 — October 2, 2018

The world lost one fantastic husband, father, brother, son, uncle, neighbor and friend on
2 Oct 2018 due to a stroke. He was surrounded by loved ones, including two sons on face time in Japan and McKinney, Texas. Tim Holdstock was born 23 Jan 1948 in Los Angeles, California to Wilfred Herbert Holdstock and Winifred Nevelle Hayes. He joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at the age of 20 in Hawthorne, California and has been a faithful and devoted member from the beginning.  He married his eternal sweetheart, Janet Eberhard, in the Salt Lake Temple on 5 Sep 1969.  Together they had 5 children who were the greatest blessings they had in life.  They faithfully served two missions together in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Charleston, West Virginia.
Tim was known best for his quick wit and sense of humor that always had people laughing.  He was always serving others and made sure that Janet was well taken care of.  He was extremely organized and had binders for every important task he took on.
Tim was a manufacturing engineer by trade and worked most of his life for Murata where he designed automated, computerized retrieval systems for large warehouses.
He is survived by his wife, Janet and sons Craig (Izumi), Brian (Mary),
Joshua (Steffanie), Jeremy (Rebecca), daughter, Amber (Everett) Taylor; Granddaughters, Erika, Ellen and Abby Holdstock and McKenzie, Autumn, and Emma Taylor; Grandsons, Clayton, Cade, Mitchell, Davis, Sam, Easton, Alexander, Maxwell and Foster Holdstock, and John Canyon Taylor and sister, Debbie Holdstock (Diane) and many nieces and nephews.
Our thanks go out to the wonderful skilled doctors and nurses at the University of Utah Hospital who gave such loving care to him during his last 12 days on earth.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Porter Lane 2nd Ward, 427 West Porter Lane, Centerville.  A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful and Monday morning 9:45-10:45 am at the church prior to services. Interment-Lakeview Cemetery.
