Timothy Allen Foren

The World lost a beautiful, big-hearted and headstrong soul on 3/30/2021. Tim was born in Salt Lake City on 5/25/1953 and his family moved to Bountiful where he spent the majority of his life. Tim married Brenda Foren in 1975. He used his connections at Dick’s Market to find out her relationship status. Once confirmed single, he made many trips to the store. After their first date, he left her a anonymous yellow rose. His good looks and charm won her devotion. She was his true north and yellow rose. He adored her. He loved golf, classic rock, Cruises with dear friends and being with loved ones on Lake Mead. He was once described as an M & M; a hard exterior with a lovely, soft inside. He had a soft spot for strays and friends in need. If Tim called you a friend, you were a precious part of his life. He had a gift for showing people their self-worth. His family will be forever grateful for those that embraced him.
Tim’s golf swing wasn’t perfect and neither was he but he had a passion for the game. There was no shame in reloading, foot wedging and finally picking up the ball if all else failed.
He relished being outdoors in the sunshine. If it was below 85 degrees it was considered “cool” and once it hit 80 degrees, it was “cold!”
Levi’s 501’s had a steady income because of Tim. Brenda had to wash them a specific way or he would not wear them. She washed them properly and he wore them everywhere.When calculated he consumed over 30,000 Pepsi’s in his lifetime. He was a walking endorsement for Pepsi Cola.
Boston, Doobie Brothers, Journey and Sugarland (yes, Sugarland) lost a true fan. It was uncommon to see him without headphones on, during the day. The decibel level was often so loud those around him had the opportunity to enjoy it also. When you asked a question, when he was listening, he answered in a voice just below a shout. Quality craftsmanship was one area where he excelled. He took great pride in his ability to work harder and longer than 90 percent of the population. If there was a job that needed doing, you could consider it done once it was brought to his attention. Working brought great joy for him. A knee replacement, torn bicep, shoulder surgery and heart stent didn’t slow him down. You rarely saw him without a band-aid somewhere and he always said his head was the hardest part of his body. Truly, it always had a bump or scrape to prove it.
After he retired he spent valuable time with Brenda. His loss will be felt deeply. He is survived by his Brenda Foren, his 3 children, Tye Foren, Tisha Foren Beers, Tasha Foren (deceased) and Tiffany Foren Beeson as well as multiple 3 grandchildren; Tayler Beers, Trinity Beeson and Kason Beeson, Jessye Jones, Sairye Egbert, Elsa Johnson.
A viewing will be held at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful on Monday, April 5th from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm. A grave-side service will be held immediately following.
