Todd Reed Christensen, 51, of Woods Cross Utah, returned home to his loving Heavenly Father on April 15, 2017.
Todd was born on September 21, 1965, the first born of eight children to Reed Martin Christensen and Laura Kay Christensen in Salt Lake City, Utah. Todd was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Todd's family moved to Rigby, Idaho in 1978. He graduated from Rigby High School in 1984, and started working in construction shortly after. He was a very dedicated employee and hard worker.
The best day of Todd's life was when his son, Trent, came into the world. Trent was the most important person in his life.
He moved back to Salt Lake City in 1993, where he attended Salt Lake Community College and shortly after began his career at Avante Windows, which is now known as Cascade Windows. He also took a part- time job with UPS where he was irreplaceable, and earned many awards.
He was an avid sports fan. His greatest interests were University of Utah football, and Utah Jazz Basketball.
Todd recently became a grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Treigh. His greatest joy was his family. He was a wonderful son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. And was loved by all who knew him.
Todd is survived by: his son, Trent R Christensen, grandson Treigh R Christensen, parents Reed M Christensen and Laura K Christensen, sisters Amy (Kim) Thompson, Mindy (Bryan) McKinley, Angie (Robert) Neill, Megan (Joseph) Bowden, Brigette (Sam) Zumbrunnen, brothers, Tyler (Holly) Christensen, and Matthew (Ethel) Christensen, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held: Saturday April 22, 2017 at 2:00 pm, at Russon Mortuary, 295 N Main Bountiful, Utah, where friends may visit with family Saturday from 12:30-1:45 pm. Interment will be at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial in Salt Lake City Utah.
