On the night of October 18, 2023, the world briefly welcomed Tuff Cooper Allen and Wrigley B Allen, twins born at Lone Peak Hospital to their loving parents, Taylor and McKensie Allen. Tuff, a resilient soul, arrived at 10:39 PM, weighing 1.2 lbs and measuring 11 inches long, followed by Wrigley at 11:20 PM, weighing 1 lb and measuring 11 inches long. After a mere hour and six minutes together in their mother's arms, Tuff and Wrigley peacefully passed hand in hand on October 19, 2023, at 12:26 AM.
Tuff & Wrigley are the cherished children of Taylor and McKensie, leaving behind a legacy of love. They are survived by their parents, older siblings Dulcii and Nolan Snyder, Meema Michelle Fordham, Grandpa & Grandma Jared and Tiffany Fordham, Bad Grandma & Grandpa Trissa and Spencer Gordon, and beloved aunts and uncles. They are preceded in death by Grandpa Johnny Allen.
Taylor and McKensie Allen extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Layne A Smith, St. Mark's Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and the compassionate staff at Lone Peak Hospital. In their most challenging moments, their care exceeded expectations. The Share Parents of Utah nonprofit provided invaluable support and resources, for which we are deeply grateful.
A celebration of life memorial will be held at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah on November 11, 2023, from 10 AM to 12 PM.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Share Parents of Utah organization in Tuff & Wrigley's honor. You may do so via a monetary donation or by purchasing one of the following books: I Can’t Believe They’re Gone by Karen Brough, I Have An Angel: Male Angel Version by Laura Feldman, I Have An Angel: Female Angel Version by Laura Feldman, Lost In The Clouds by Tom Tinn-Disbury, The Memory Box: A Book About Grief by Joanna Rowland, and The Invisible String by Patrice Karst.
As we say goodbye to our dear Tuff and Wrigley, their light will forever shine in our hearts. They may be gone, but they will never be forgotten.
“We’ll love you forever, we’ll like you for always. As long as we’re living, our babies you’ll be!”
