Tyler Jason Seamons

February 10, 1975 — June 11, 2018

“What’s wrong with peace, love and understanding?” ~ Elvis Costello
Tyler Jason Seamons has passed gracefully and with swagger into the great unknown. He is survived by his beautiful and devoted wife, “Babe” and his four brilliant children, “Macaroni”, “Jason Boy”, “Lulee”, and “Jakers”, his Mother and Step Father, 2 sisters “Siffy” and “Terry- toes”, 1 brother, “Science Bro", his beloved band mates of Nine Spine Stickleback, his cohorts at KickFire Marketing and the rest of his favorite people (aka his collections of weirdies, you know who you are…), throngs of friends from across the globe and of course, his fans.
He sang like a magnificent, Viking opera star. He juggled as well as the best court jester. He cooked like every bite would deliver a heap of love. Everyone he met felt like they were his friend, because they were. He had ideas that were provocative. He valued free agency and he seemed like a natural at being a husband, father, entrepreneur, entertainer, and all around good human. Tyler served a mission in Italy in 1998. He loved his religion and was a faithful and upstanding member. He possessed a gravitational pull of inclusivity that left everyone feeling grounded, grateful, special and loved. He was silly and he loved brownies and ice cream.
He was taken by an unbeatable foe, brain cancer. He did his best to keep it light and fluffy and was, for the most part, successful. He promised to haunt those of us who had requested it. There is a password required, so if you don’t already have it, no haunting for you.
Tyler was a brilliant light in a sometimes dark universe and will likely continue to be such. In true Tyler fashion, we will learn to grow from this and continue to love one another.
