Vance Charles Nye

Vance Charles Nye passed away on August 12, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Vance was born to Charles and Alta Nye in Burley, Idaho on August 27, 1934. He married his sweetheart Maurine Boulton on October 7, 1953 in the Salt Lake temple. He worked alongside his father, brothers and sons as a skilled carpenter and craftsman. Vance loved the outdoors and spent time hunting and fishing. He enjoyed traveling and could often be found cruising the roads with the Beehive Roamers.
Vance leaves behind children: Brent (Diane) Nye, Randy (Teresa) Nye, Kyle (Sharlyn) Nye and Cindy (Richard) Morones; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, siblings: Marilyn Jensen, Kent (Charlene) Nye,  Bruce (Caren) Nye, and Valerie (Mike) Figgins.
Vance was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brother, Gary and a great granddaughter.
Viewing will be Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 6 – 8 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful. Graveside services and burial will be on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful.
