He married Audrey Smith on Oct.18, 1951 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Following the war he worked as a journeyman aircraft machinist at Hill AFB. He graduated from Kansas City School of Watchmaking in 1949, and then from the University of Utah with a BS degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering.
He worked in the Aerospace industry (for Lockheed, Marquardt, and Hercules) on many projects including Bomarc, Apollo, and as a Senior Development Engineer on the third stage Minuteman rocket motor project. He worked in management at Thiokol, Logan Division. He ended his career in private industry at Eaton Kenway (now HK Systems) and is named on several patents related to automatic guided vehicles.
He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all his life and served in numerous capacities including many years in various clerk positions, stake missionary, counselor in a bishopric, and as an ordinance worker in the Bountiful Temple.
His greatest joy was his wife and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lloyd, and sister Jean Bryson. Survived by his wife Audrey and children: Randall V. (Alice) of Spring, TX; Dale B.
