Vaughn Jay Brown born February 12, 1941, in Idaho Falls, ID passed away on November 27, 2021, in Ogden. Vaughn was the son of Ernest and Myrtle Brown.
Vaughn proudly served a mission in Germany. He married the love of his life, Joy Ruth Rigby on August 31, 1966. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. They were dedicated to each other for 55 years. He was the proud father of two children: Mindy (Olivier) Lamonica of Clearfield, UT, and Jeff (Hilary) Brown of Farmington, UT. His pride and joy were his three grandchildren Noah, Lincoln, and London Brown of Farmington, UT.
Vaughn enjoyed the time he spent serving the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in many callings including bishoprics, scouting, and with the youth. He and his wife served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Oakland, CA, and multiple service missions.
Vaughn was known for his kindness, service to others, and witty sense of humor.
Vaughn is survived by his wife, children, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday December 1, 2021, at the Kaysville 22nd Ward Building located at 201 S. 600 E. Kaysville, UT.
Friends and family may visit from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday November 30, 2021, at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main, Farmington, or from 9:45 to 10:45 AM on Wednesday at the church.
Interment will be at the Kaysville City Cemetery.
