(Venky) Vengata C. Chinnathambi

Our beloved friend, loving father and wonderful husband, Venky, of Bountiful, UT, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Lake View Hospital. He was 45. Venky was born in Aruvankadu, Ooty, a village perched in the scenic Nilgiri mountains in Southern India, on May 15th 1970 as the fourth son in the family.  He graduated with B. E. in Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, in 1991. Venky was a data expert and a serial entrepreneur who worked in several companies both in India and the US. He was a member of the executive MBA program, class of 2016, at the University of Utah.

Venky loved rock music, movies, camping and cooking-one of his many passions was making chocolate and cheese fondues. A very caring individual, he was an excellent host to friends and families. Venky had a big smile that was contagious and lit the room up with laughter. He was the world's greatest dad and will be greatly missed. Venky is survived by his wife Vinodhini Kolandavelu (married in 1997) and two children, Nithin [16] and Akila Chalapathi [12].
