Verna Dene Atkinson

Verna “Dene” Atkinson, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2024.  She was born on July 5th, 1931, in Stanton County, Kansas to Wayne Gaskill and Ary “Pearl” Williamson Gaskill.

She was a beacon of love and strength, touching the lives of all who knew her. Her devotion to family, kindness, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed. 

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the Centerville 11th Ward, 270 North 300 East, Centerville, Utah, where a viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services.  Interment will be at the Centerville City Cemetery.

Services will be streamed live on the Russon Brothers Mortuary Facebook page and on this obituary page.  The live stream will begin about 10-15 minutes prior to the service and will be posted below.
