Victor Stanislaus Gallegos born on May 7th, 1960, left this Earth unexpectedly on October 30th, 2017. Victor was the son of Arthur Gallegos and Stella Maria Tafoya Gallegos. Victor married his loving wife Gay Lynne Guercio on May 9th, 2011. They often expressed their gratitude for finding one another at a later stage in their lives. Along with Gay Lynne, he is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Teresa Nichole Gallegos (Nathaniel Gray Chapman) and Taylor Shaye Gallegos, as well as his three stepchildren Jamie (Lyndsey), Adam (Gwen) and Jeffrey (Celia). He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren who loved him dearly. Victor is also survived by his mother Stella, stepfather Ken Clark and his two brothers, Arthur Thomas Gallegos and Michael Andrew Gallegos. He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Gallegos, sister Monica Marie Gallegos, and brother Raymond Gallegos.
A viewing for Victor Stanislaus Gallegos will be held on Friday, November 3rd, 2017, from 4:30pm to 8:00pm at the Russon Brothers Mortuary. Russon Brothers Mortuary is located at 295 N. Main Street in Bountiful, Utah. This will be an open casket viewing. We understand it is difficult to see him this way and if you feel more comfortable, please join us for Victor's Celebration of Life which will be held on Saturday, November 4th, 2017 at The Acoustic Space located at 124 S 400 W in Salt Lake City, Utah. Please join us anytime from 1:30pm to 5:00pm. The Celebration of Life will include food and drink (BYOB!!), great music, fun memories and Victor's T-shirts for friends and family to take home to remember him by.
Victor was such an incredible man with a generous heart and an infectious laugh. Always willing to help, always there with a positive attitude. An example for all of us. A loving father to his daughters. A loyal friend to all of us. He has touched our lives and he will be greatly missed. Please feel free to wear tie dye, Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Jerry Garcia, and any other musicians, University of Utah, Salt Lake Bees, L.A. Dodgers, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Blackhawks, or San Francisco 49er's attire to Victor's Celebration of Life. This is a time to celebrate Victor and all that he taught us. This is a time to share great memories, great music and favorite sayings. This is a time to show Victor how much he truly meant to all of us. This is the time to show Victor we love him.
