Violet "Georgine" Champlin Parmeter

Violet “Georgine” Champlin Parmeter, 94, went home to be with her Savior on January 8, 2024. Surrounded by her family. She was a wonderful Mom, Grandmother, and “GG” to all her great-grandchildren.

She was born in Twin Falls Idaho on December 27, 1929, to Velma Champlin Lightfoot and George Bailey Champlin. She married Richard (Dick) Allen Parmeter May 19, 1950, and they lived in Idaho till 1970 when they moved to Utah. They had three children, Kathy, Linda, and Wesley. She had two brothers, George and Virgil. Virgil delighted in teasing his older sister.

Mom enjoyed sewing, baking, and caring for her family. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, and shooting. She did office work for many years and was over medical records at Uintah Care Center for 18 years before retiring. After moving back to Salt Lake City, she enjoyed being around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as they were constantly in and out to visit with her. Mom was always there to support her family no matter what trials they had in their lives. She loved all her family no matter how close or far away they lived.

Georgine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, daughter, Kathy and her husband Roger Saddler and grandson Nathan Allen Daniels.

She is survived by her two children, Linda Jean Daniels (Ken) and Wesley Allen Parmeter (Sharon), 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Granddaughter. She was beloved by many extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah, where a viewing will be held Wednesday morning from 8:45-9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment- Salt Lake City Cemetery.
