Virginia Dare Russell DiLauro

Our beloved mother, grandmother and friend was lifted into the arms of her Heavenly Father and her loving husband, Rocky, on April 19, 2013.

She was born in Filmore, Utah on May 10, 1922 to Frank and Mary Russell. She met her husband in September 1941 and married him November 8, 1941 and later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married 54 years until our dad passed in October 1995.

Survived by her children, Pat, Rosmary, and Jim (Robyn), 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband, Rocky, son Frank, her parents, and nine brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April, 23, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Russon Brothers Salt Lake Mortuary, 255 South 200 East. Friends may call on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and prior to the services from 10:30 to 11:30. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park, 4390 West 4100 South, West Valley City.
