Vivian Virginia Lamont Lodder passed away on January 9, 2012 in Bountiful, Utah surrounded by her loving family. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah August 10, 1923, the daughter of Robert Maxwell Lamont and Lillie Elizabeth Peck. Married Merlin Fawcett, March 1, 1942. Together they had a daughter, Judith. Merlin died while serving his country during WWII. Vivian later met life-long sweetheart, John Lodder at her sisters wedding where he was the best man and she was the maid of honor. They married September 30, 1946; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. This past year they celebrated 65 wonderful years together. John and Vivian raised five children: Judith (Saeed), Jan (Dave), Scott (Sheryl), Lisa (Richard), and John (Jill). Her children were her life. She was the ultimate mother and homemaker. Vivian helped John run his business, Lodder Automotive for 40 years. She was a very compassionate person, caring for numerous elderly relatives and friends, including her husband for many years. She dearly loved her 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She made each child feel as if they were her favorite. Funeral services for Vivian will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 13, 2012 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where a viewing will be held from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Lakeview Cemetery.
